Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about any other, more experienced individuals winning their cash.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino gets 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
