No-Limit Holdem Poker- Howard Lederer?

Howard Lederer was born into in a family of 5 where he liked participating in different card games when he was young. He found himself getting very competitive in these card games as he was competing against his dad. After graduating from Sr. High school, Howard decided to place college on hold for a little while and headed to New York City to play some big-time chess. While playing chess, he was brought in to a poker game going on in the back of the room. Howard’s 1st two years were difficult as he played extensive hours and fail to win most times. He made some extra cash by becoming an runner for the poker enthusiasts. He believed he possibly could boost his game by balancing his life outside of poker. He made an attempt to acquire more sleep and focus even more on poker.
The real advancement in his game began when he began gambling at the Mayfair Club in New York. The Mayfair was a bridge and backgammon club where the the most favorable gamblers would often play against one another. He was able to access a few of the greatest minds in chess. With their help, Howard Lederer would tweak his logical thinking skills. He used these strategic ideas in the game of NL Texas Holdem.
He also helped his sister Annie Duke learn the game of poker. She was a superb student of the game as she would always be asking questions about how to make the proper decision. Howard told Annie Duke to head out to Sin City and play in the WSOP tournaments. Annie is one of the greatest female players the poker world today. Howard Lederer moved to Las Vegas in 1993 and participated in cash games for the subsequent decade. When the World Poker Tournament grew in popularity, he made the decision to compete in more tournaments.
