Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a great game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to be concerned about any other, more skillful players taking their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, rookies can take their time and strategize without needing to make quick selections.

It’s also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with only a small amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
