Phil Ivey has been branded as the greatest poker contender in the world by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching turning one. He made a decision to take his game to the successive level and moved out west to Las Vegas. Phil continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players in the world. Ivey credits his achievements to dedication and an undying passion for the game of poker. Phil says that he is picking up skills every single day and is very abashed about his achievements. He knows he makes mistakes every single session of poker and always aspires to improve.

Even though Ivey has come first in some large tournaments, he prefers winning cash games on a regular basis.
