Web poker has become world famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a sum on par with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
