Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about other, more experienced players taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make frenzied decisions.
It is also easier to wager on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
