Texas Hold em Poker – Internet Type Card Sites In Real World Betting Houses – Like Betting onHold’em on the Web

Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about a couple of weeks back when I took a short getaway with my wife to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my name to be summoned at the live tables, I noticed how the other individuals around the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was very fascinating to say the least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there were no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was stale. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, but I did notice the gamblers on the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The reason for this may well be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively dull and the players looked bored stiff. It was almost as if I was seeing a live variation of a web based holdem poker room instead of sitting with warm blooded humans. It was a little bit creepy and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of ST:TNG and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the live tables for more than an hour, I made the decision to observe how the casino game action was and to experience this new texas hold em poker gaming technology. Soon after betting a couple of hands, I really felt like I was wagering at home. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are possible at these computer tables.
Another thing I discovered was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a lot of hands on the PokerPro table and discovered that the wager on was a lot like an internet based hold’em poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to become really odd.
Soon after playing a couple of rounds with this "new texas holdem poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m better off playing texas hold’em poker on the net at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino had been to have rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a good deal of gamblers.
